FIA 5K Run

Federation of Indian Associations (FIA) & Telugu Association of Tampa Bay's (TAF) Second 5K Run & Walk for Hope Children's Home !

The intent of the race/walk is to bring together people from all regions,cultures and countries that are living within Tampa Bay Area, create festive environement and donate the proceedings to Hope Children's Home !

Race Organizer(s):

  • Federation of Indian Association of Tampa Bay (FIA) is a secular, non-profit organization and recognized for tax exempt, 501(C) (3) by IRS. It is an umbrella organization currently representing thirty six different organizations in the Tampa Bay. Its mission is to have unity in diversity and provide service(s) to the Tampa Bay community

  • Telugu Association of Florida(TAF) is an organization to promote Telugu language, art, and cultural heritage by and among people from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana States of India living in the Tampa Bay area.

7:00 AM - 8:30 AM - Walk up registration & T-Shirt Pickup
9:00 AM – Race Start Time.


5k will start at Shelter 3 of Lake Park. The runners will start at the back of the park going towards the front gate and take a left turn at one mile marker into the trail. The runners will go around the lake and return to the end point where it is started.

  • Kids Ages 15 to 18 - 1st, 2nd, 3rd
  • Age > 60 - 1st, 2nd, 3rd


There are no refunds, transfers, or credits for this race. Event is held rain or shine.


Specialty Sporty t-shirts are guaranteed to first 100 PRE-REGISTERED entrants. Late and Walk-up registrants are not guaranteed a race shirt.

Parking is in and around Lake Park, please come early since parking for these events will fill quickly
